Information You Submit
A third-party provider receives names, phone numbers, or addresses entered in sponsored search forms. Our servers do not retain those searches. If you send us a message, we receive its contents and use them to answer you.
Automatic Technical Data
Our hosting keeps ordinary server logs: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and timestamps. We look at this in aggregate to keep the site healthy and to see which pages readers use. Cookies or similar technologies may support basic analytics and, where applicable, advertising measurement.
How Information Is Used
Technical data helps operate the service, diagnose errors, measure broad traffic patterns, and improve pages. We neither sell lists of visitors nor create personal profiles of individual readers.
Privacy on Linked Services
Links lead to county and state portals, library databases, archives, and outside search providers. Information entered after leaving this site is governed by the destination's privacy policy. Sponsored search results are also supplied by a separate company.
Who Might See Your Data
The service providers that host and support the site process server logs for us. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. We disclose data when a valid legal process requires it, and not otherwise.
Safeguarding Visitor Data
An encrypted connection protects traffic in transit, and logs are retained only as long as operational needs require. Because visitors do not create accounts, this site holds no user password or account profile.
Users Under 18
The site is meant for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18; if you believe a minor has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Data Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data a website retains. The project research did not identify a general Washington statute that deletes public records on demand; record-specific protections and custodian procedures apply instead. Because we retain very little visitor data, a request normally concerns our contact mailbox or server logs. Use the Contact page to ask. We cannot alter records held by Washington or Snohomish County offices.
Updates to This Policy
Any change to this policy will be posted on this page. Using the site after a change means you accept the updated version.
